An excellent opportunity for a 2+ PQE Banking & Finance Associate to join a growing and highly regarded Finance practice in Dubai.
The team advises leading regional and international lenders, private equity sponsors, funds, sovereign wealth funds and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border financings across the GCC.
The Role
- Advising on leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending
- Working with lenders, sponsors, private equity funds, SWFs and corporates on high-value regional and cross-border transactions
- Involvement throughout the transaction lifecycle, from structuring and documentation through to negotiation and closing
- Drafting and negotiating key financing documentation and taking ownership of individual workstreams
- Exposure to financing transactions across Real Estate, Energy, Infrastructure, Industrials and Financial Services
- Working closely with the firm’s wider corporate, projects and international finance teams
- Opportunity for significant client contact and early responsibility within a growing Middle East practice
Candidate Profile
- 2+ PQE with strong Banking & Finance experience from a leading UK or international firm
- Experience across transactional finance, ideally including leveraged finance, acquisition finance or corporate lending
- Restructuring experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded and comfortable working on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Strong academic and professional credentials
