Attorney – Medical Malpractice Jobs in Baltimore, MD at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our litigation department. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, with a focus on case preparation, document management, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Support commercial and real estate litigation attorneys from pre-litigation and all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and filing documents in state and federal court
Draft and prepare legal documents, including predicate notices, pleadings, and correspondence
Gather, review, and organize voluminous documents and information
Maintain and manage electronic case files
Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
Serve as a liaison with clients, courts, and external parties
Coordinate scheduling of meetings, court appearances, and depositions
Perform general administrative tasks, including document filing, data entry, word proceeding, and file organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in litigation support, preferably in commercial and real estate litigation
Strong understanding of litigation process and legal terminology, particularly in real estate litigation matters
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and cite-checking
Exceptional organizational skills to manage many cases and timely meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Relativity

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per hour
