Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to help with coverage during a default hearing in Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate will possess a background handling default hearings and preparing all the relevant documents/ gathering affidavits as needed. The ex parte proof hearing is scheduled for July 18th, at 11am. Located at 500 Indiana Ave NW, Washington DC 20001.
Duties
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive legal support.
Manage case files efficiently to ensure timely progression of legal matters.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the DC bar and valid license to practice law.
Experience in civil matters is preferred.
Proficiency in legal drafting and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
