ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and ethical Compliance Officer to support the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of our compliance framework. The successful candidate will help ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, internal policies, and sound governance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring plans.

•Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on compliance obligations.

•Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, control testing, and follow-up activities.

•Prepare compliance reports for management, committees, the Board, and relevant regulators.

•Coordinate regulatory inspections, information requests, audits, and findings.

•Support compliance training, awareness initiatives, and a strong ethical culture.

•Investigate or support investigations into compliance breaches and track corrective actions.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor’s degree in Law, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.

•Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in compliance, risk management, legal, audit, governance, regulatory affairs, or a regulated environment.

•Strong understanding of compliance principles, governance, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

•Excellent analytical, report-writing, communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

•Professional compliance certification, in the related field, will be advantageous.
