Associate Immigration Attorney Jobs in Saint Paul, MN at Heinz Law PLLC
Small, immigration law firm is seeking an associate attorney with cross-cultural sensitivity. Ideal candidate has Spanish language fluency but not required, and strong interest in litigation. Must work well independently, be able to multi-task, enjoy going to court, and have strong writing skills. Must show good judgment and have excellent organizational skills. A degree of patience and tolerance is also required to deal effectively with clients, staff members, and attorneys. Workload can be heavy at times.
Must either be licensed to practice law or be a candidate for Bar admission. Some immigration law experience preferred. Prior experience working with immigrant victims of domestic violence and low-income clients is strongly preferred. Prior experience with immigration law is preferred. Non-academic experiences, as they relate to an interest in working with low income individuals, will be given weight.
Highly preferred Spanish language fluency.
Additional Salary Information: Base salary plus compensation plan
Position is Monday through Thursday with flexible hours. Pay dependent on experience.
