Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, including (development, transactions & tax appeal) practice. This role requires excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills, with the ability to manage complex real estate matters from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Meeting with clients to understand their legal needs and provide clear, practical advice
Researching laws, court cases, regulations, and trends using Westlaw and legal texts
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal memos
Developing legal strategies and presenting options to clients
Preparing and organizing documentation for hearings, tax appeals, closings, and filings
Appearing on behalf of clients at hearings or meetings (with support from our legal team)
Supervising and collaborating with paralegals and support staff
Keeping clients informed and cases on track with excellent communication
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York
1–2 years of real estate law or related legal experience
Excellent research, legal writing, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and solve problems creatively
Organized, detail-oriented, and confident with client interaction
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
