We're working with a specialist legal powerhouse focused on the high-stakes world of cyber incidents and tech risk on this exciting opportunity. The Role

  • Lead the legal response to complex cyber incidents and large-scale data breaches from the initial forensic stages through to resolution.
  • Advise high-profile clients on sensitive regulatory issues involving GDPR, DPA 2018, and emerging international data privacy frameworks.
  • Manage contentious workstreams, including cyber-related litigation, professional liability disputes, and regulatory investigations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical experts and corporate leadership in time-critical, high-pressure scenarios.
  • Drive the development of internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to stay ahead of the evolving cyber-threat landscape.

What You'll Need

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with experience in Contentious, Regulatory, or Risk-focused legal practice.
  • Proven background in Commercial Disputes, Professional Liability, or Data Privacy Law with a desire to specialise in Cyber Law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters with autonomy and lead small workstreams effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the "mental toughness" required to advise clients during active crisis situations.
  • A keen interest in the intersection of Law and Technology, specifically regarding Incident Response, AI Risk, and Information Security.

What's On Offer

  • Highly competitive salary range of £80,000 – £110,000 with clear potential for career progression.
  • Remote-friendly working environment with a focus on high-performance collaboration rather than desk-time.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge, high-stakes work that is regularly in the headlines, providing unrivaled professional development.
  • A collegiate, supportive team culture that values mentorship and long-term skill building in a developing legal field.
