About the role
SPS is growing across the Asia Pacific region, and we’re looking for a proactive and versatile Compliance Manager to strengthen our regional compliance framework. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate compliance activities across Internal Audit, Information Security, Data Protection, Health & Safety, Business Continuity, ESG, and Quality. You will also play a key role in ensuring SPS meets ISO standards, legal requirements, regulatory obligations, and client expectations.

KEY REPSONBSIBILITIES
Compliance Governance & Documentation
- Develop, update, and maintain APAC‑specific policies, process documentation, training materials, and a full compliance library.
- Provide day‑to‑day guidance to local teams on compliance, data protection, information security, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and related topics.
Risk Management & Audits
- Track and ensure closure of findings from information security, data protection, and HSE audits.
- Manage the annual APAC risk assessment program across information security, data protection, HSE, ESG, and Business Continuity.
- Maintain and update the regional Legal Risk Register.
Compliance Activities & ISO Support
- Lead yearly compliance initiatives such as Business Continuity (BCP) exercises, call‑tree tests, and operational documentation updates.
- Support ISO‑related initiatives and help develop management systems aligned with ISO9001 and ISO27001.
Client & Vendor Interaction
- Respond to client information security assessments and due‑diligence questionnaires for both existing and new business.
- Support vendor due‑diligence exercises as required.
Incident & Reporting
- Conduct investigations and reporting for data protection incidents and HSE events.
- Collect and consolidate carbon emission data to support global ESG reporting.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in compliance, audit, information security, HSE, or related fields in a sizable organization.
- Familiarity with ISO standards; have experience in coordinating ISO audits activities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels in multiple countries.
- Eagerness to build deeper knowledge in Information Security, Data Protection, and HSE regulations.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel within APAC (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and China) as necessary.
