Immigration focused law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with Criminal Defense experience who is ready and willing to take on new criminal cases. The firm is looking to expand practice areas. Candidate should be willing to learn and assist on our Immigration Defense cases as well. Training and mentoring will be provided to the proper Lawyer in Immigration. Firm is seeking an Attorney who can assist with emergency,
fast-paced
motions in deportation/removal proceedings before Immigration Court, as well as process family-based immigration petitions with USCIS.
Candidates are expected to attend and argue cases at hearings on a weekly basis. We encourage long term commitment. Some travel may be required for in-person hearings. The Attorney must possess a law degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the bar in CT. Please submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and salary requirements. Speaking Spanish and English is preferred.
2 years of experience in Criminal Defense preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 – $39.00 per hour
