Duties
Draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings, to support litigation efforts. Manage the discovery process, including written and oral discovery, and conduct depositions. File documents using legal filing systems such as JEFS and PACER. Perform comprehensive legal research utilizing platforms like Lexis. Make court appearances and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations. Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to assess their legal needs.
Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the State of Hawaii. A minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in trust and estate law, conservator ships, and estate planning. Excellent written and verbal
