Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation / Insurance Defense

This firm offers a different environment. Attorneys manage their own cases, work directly with partners, and play an active role in moving matters from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your own cases with meaningful autonomy and partner support
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and related proceedings
- Work directly with clients and insurance carriers
- Assist with trial preparation and attend trial

Qualifications:
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
- Insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with partners and clients
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130,000–$185,000 + bonus
