Our boutique litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience in civil defense litigation. This role is ideal for a motivated candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to contribute to all phases of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions
Conducting legal research and writing
Managing case files and deadlines
Attending court hearings and status calls
Assisting with or conducting depositions
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in Illinois
1–5 years of civil litigation or defense experience
Excellent writing and analytical skills
Deposition experience preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range is $80,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience
