We are currently seeking a Paralegal Assistant to join our team. If you are interested in this opportunity, you must have a desire to work in the legal field and familiarity with the standards of the legal field. A unique aspect of this position is access to judges, other attorneys and contacts in the community. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized but also willing to take on new responsibilities and learn new skills as they are needed.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and greet clients in a professional manner.
Perform legal research.
Create and format legal documents like briefs and motions.
Compile a client’s file and track documents.
Keep track of unresolved issues.
Instruct paralegals and legal assistants on correct procedures.
File court papers.
Accurately summarize discussion points from court hearing and write them up correctly.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
