With a focus on Health and Administrative Law, the legal team at SLG provides exceptional counsel to Post-Acute and Medical Providers, in addition to other specialized services like advising Non-Profit Organizations, Corporate Compliance Education, and Civil Litigation.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including general Business, Contracts, Disputes, Business operations, Administrative law and grievances, Estates, and Civil Litigation. Duties
Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft and review case and legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters, particularly in contract and tort cases.
Contribute to managing client files and maintain organized records of all legal proceedings and communications. Build ongoing client relationships.
Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law, particularly in regulatory guidance as it applies to businesses and professionals.
Collaborate with senior attorney on complex cases, contributing insights and recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings as required to represent the firm effectively.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the WA state bar association is required.
Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not mandatory; internships will be considered.
Strong legal research and writing skills are essential for success in this role.
Familiarity with business law fields is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients’ interests.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a REMOTE team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $73,781.00 – $86,295.00 per year
