We are seeking a high-energy, trial-oriented Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will take immediate ownership of a diverse caseload, ranging from initial intake and pre-litigation to active litigation and trial.

This is a "full-cycle" litigation role designed for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about advocating for the rights of injured individuals. You will be supported by a dedicated team of paralegals and legal assistants, allowing you to focus on substantive legal strategy and advocacy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Oversee a caseload of [Insert Number] personal injury files, ensuring each case moves efficiently through the pre-litigation and litigation lifecycles.
  • Substantive Drafting: Prepare and review summons and complaints, discovery requests and responses, motions to compel, and pre-trial briefs.
  • Discovery & Depositions: Lead the discovery process, including defending and taking depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, and medical experts.
  • Client Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing empathetic and professional guidance from the initial intake through settlement or verdict.
  • Negotiation & Mediation: Draft comprehensive demand packages and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences to maximize case value.
  • Trial Preparation: Work closely with lead partners to prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, and drafting motions in limine.
  • Medical Coordination: Review and analyze medical records and billing to build a comprehensive picture of damages and coordinate with expert witnesses.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation (Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred).
  • Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Active member in good standing with the [Insert State] State Bar.
