Job Description
- Provide legal support and advise on legal matters on banking products (which may include both conventional and islamic), Bank’s procedures and policies.
- Review and draft Service Agreements (intragroup and Vendor) and IT contracts.
- Conduct research and provide guidance and opinions on legal matters, developments and updates on legislations to internal Bank stakeholders.
- To conduct learning training or arrange for external trainings to relevant stakeholders within the Bank.
- To monitor court orders served on the Bank.
- To assist in risk management exercises.
- All other matters as instructed by the Head of Legal Department.
Job Requirements
- Professional law degree, LLB or equivalent.
- Certificate of Legal Practice/Bar.
- Qualified lawyer with 10 to 12 years of experience gained from legal practice/ in house financial institution (prior working experience in financial institution would be added advantage).
- Understanding of banking products, law relevant to banking/contract law.
- Good communication skills and analytical.
