Our client is seeking an Area Senior Catering Sales Manager to lead catering and conference services for multiple hotel properties. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing business strategies, and overseeing the successful execution of group meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.
Qualifications
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, hotel leadership, and internal teams.
· Strong Catering Sales expertise with a proven ability to drive revenue through strategic planning, budgeting, revenue management, and business development.
· Strong understanding of hotel revenue management, including pricing, forecasting, sales strategy, and inventory management.
· Proven leadership skills with experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership & Revenue Generation Develop and execute strategic sales, catering, and revenue initiatives by leading business planning, forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, and market analysis to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
· Sales & Business Development Drive business growth by leading high-performing sales teams, developing key client relationships, expanding market share, and generating new business through strategic sales initiatives, networking, and community engagement.
· Financial Management Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance by analyzing revenue, controlling expenses, and implementing strategies that maximize profitability and achieve business objectives.
· Team Leadership & Development Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and catering professionals while fostering a collaborative, accountable culture focused on employee growth and results.
· Compliance & Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and industry regulations while leveraging technology and best practices to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
