About the Role
Join an appellate litigation practice handling sophisticated appeals and complex legal issues. This opportunity is designed for an attorney with a minimum of 5 years of appellate litigation experience and exceptional legal research and writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for appellate matters.
- Draft appellate briefs, motions, and other appellate court filings.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop appellate strategy and legal arguments.
- Analyze complex legal issues and applicable case law.
- Manage multiple appellate matters and deadlines efficiently.
- Support all phases of appellate litigation from case assessment through final resolution.
- Prepare persuasive written advocacy for appellate proceedings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of appellate litigation experience.
- Outstanding academic credentials and strong law school performance.
- Prior experience handling appellate litigation matters.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
- Preferred: Federal appellate judicial clerkship experience.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
