MARKS, O’NEILL, O’BRIEN, DOHERTY & KELLY, a premier insurance defense law firm, seeks to hire a Paralegal experienced in Insurance Defense for our Cherry Hill, NJ office. This is a hybrid position and candidate required to have experience in New Jersey Law. Excellent salary and benefits package.
Essential Functions:
Preparation of pleadings including answers to complaints, motions, etc.
Preparing and monitoring the case calendar, adhering to compliance deadlines for multiple clients.
Reviewing medical records and preparing summaries.
Preparing settlement forms, sending out settlement packages, sending out checks and updating settlement charts.
Ability to track and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
3+ years law firm experience.
Prior insurance defense litigation experience required.
Applicants with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, document management software and Nuance.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
