Workers compensation Defense firm looking for a paralegal to join our team in the capacity of assisting attorneys on their case management. Must have at least 3-4 years prior experience on the defense side of workers compensation. If you don’t have the experience please dont reply to this add. Duties
- Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and management of workers’ compensation cases from inception through resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research on workers’ compensation laws, procedural rules, and relevant case law to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance carriers, employers, and injured employees to gather necessary documentation and facilitate communication.
- Monitor case deadlines, prepare status reports, and track case progress using project management tools.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, and managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette.
- Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance, conducting legal research on procedural law issues, and assisting with trial preparation when needed.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
