Small family law firm seeks an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated Legal Assistant/paralegal for a Part Time position
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
Solid computer and communication skills required;
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in the legal field;
Detail oriented and organized;
Analytical skills
Touch type with a minimum 30 words per minute; Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel;
Bilingual in Hindi, Punjabi preferred but not required; Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering client and prospective client calls.
Managing firm and attorney calendar
Drafting correspondence and emails to clients and other attorneys
Collecting and analyzing records, and maintaining contact with clients
Organizing and maintaining client files
Schedule appointments and phone calls
calendaring, tracking deadlines, case management
Ideal applicant will have a dedication to excellence and great communications skills
Competitive pay and work from home allowed one day a week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
