This position offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely as an Independent Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings, ensuring fidelity to the original audio recordings.
Maintain strict adherence to established style guides to produce precise and verbatim transcripts.
Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team as needed, while managing your own schedule to meet workload demands.
Required Skills
Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping.
Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
Capacity to handle sensitive or challenging audio/text content (content may be offensive).
Familiarity with legal terminology.
Qualifications
Significant experience in legal transcription is required.
Those currently enrolled in court reporting programs will also be considered.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
