This position offers full flexibility as a 100% remote opportunity for Independent Contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
Process audio recordings while strictly adhering to client-specific style guides to produce verbatim transcripts.
Maintain a high standard of detail and accuracy throughout the transcription process.
Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team, ensuring quality assurance and feedback.
Required Skills
Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines.
Strong literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Proficient typing abilities in both speed and accuracy.
Capacity to handle challenging audio/text content responsibly.
Familiarity with legal terminology.
Ability to pass a background check.
Court reporting students are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
Significant experience in legal transcription is required.
A background in legal studies or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
