Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
Produce verbatim transcripts, meticulously adhering to style guides and legal standards.
Collaborate with our dedicated in-office team when necessary to ensure quality and precision.
Effectively manage your time to meet established deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
Required Skills
Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
Ability to process sensitive audio/text content.
Capability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Qualifications
Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields is essential.
Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
This position is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
