About youTo be successful, you will need:3+ years of experience in a law firm (within wills & estates)
In-depth knowledge of wills and estates law and procedures
Strong ethics, integrity, and ability to work independently or as a team Excellent technical, written, and verbal
communication skills
To be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario About the role
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
Drafting of wills, power of attorney and trusts, estate administration, probate of wills, estate litigation, and all other matters as required
Providing legal advice on estate planning strategies for asset protection and distribution
Recommending updates to estate planning documents based on changes in circumstances or laws Educating clients about legal processes and implications of their estate planning choices
