The Historic Red Lion Inn 1704 is looking for an energetic, organized, and hospitality-driven Event Producer to join our award-winning Events Team. What You’ll Do
As an Event Producer, you will guide clients from the moment they book until the last guest leaves the dance floor.
You’ll become their trusted advisor, planner, designer, problem solver, and day-of-event expert.
Your Responsibilities Include:Wedding & Event Planning
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the planning process.
- Coordinate weddings, rehearsal dinners, social events, corporate functions, and special celebrations.
- Conduct planning meetings, tastings, design appointments, final reviews, and rehearsals.
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, floor plans, beverage sheets, rental orders, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure every event detail is organized, accurate, and communicated to all departments.
Event Design
- Help clients personalize their event.
- Recommend décor enhancements, specialty rentals, linens, lighting, and upgraded experiences.
- Coordinate with florists, entertainers, photographers, transportation companies, and other vendors.
Event Execution
- Oversee room setup and event presentation.
- Welcome clients and vendors upon arrival.
- Ensure every event runs smoothly from beginning to end.
- Troubleshoot unexpected situations calmly and professionally.
- Work closely with Banquets, Culinary, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams.
Client Experience
- Build lasting relationships with clients.
- Deliver exceptional hospitality throughout the planning process.
- Exceed expectations and create unforgettable memories.
- Follow up after each event with thank-you notes and event summaries.
What We’re Looking For

Qualifications
- Previous experience in weddings, catering, hospitality, event planning, or hotel operations preferred
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays during the wedding season
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
