Job Responsibilities
Draft wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
Advise clients on federal estate and gift taxes
Handle estate administration and sophisticated tax planning for individuals and entities
Work with partnerships, corporations, and closely-held businesses for estate planning
Collaborate on charitable planning initiatives
Conduct research and present complex legal solutions in clear terms
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in trusts and estates law
Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar
Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws
Experience with estate administration and tax planning for partnerships and corporations
Strong research, writing, and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
