We are seeking an experienced and dynamic legal professional to provide strategic legal advice and leadership in the negotiation, execution, and administration of leasing, trading, and finance transactions for aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, negotiate, and finalise leasing, trading, and financing transactions from inception to execution.
Provide expert guidance on legal issues, including contract disputes, lease defaults, restructurings, and repossessions.
Lead deal teams to achieve business objectives in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
Oversee external counsel to ensure cost-effective and efficient legal services.
Support legal data systems, process improvements, and ESG initiatives.
Work closely with senior leadership on special projects and governance frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
A law degree with accreditation to practice in the US, UK, or other common law jurisdictions.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in aviation leasing and finance, either in a top-tier law firm or in-house.
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.
A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
