PARALEGAL
The Paralegal position will support litigation cases, prelitigation cases, and support administrative functions such as scanning and calendaring as well as overall support to attorneys and associate staff.
The candidate will be involved in cases with varied values mostly high value cases. The candidate must be diligent, dependable and willing to work onsite.
This is not a remote position. Right candidate will be trained on leadership, collaboration and matters of subject matter relevance, The position also will encourage self improvement and professional development.
Typical duties of prelitigation responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with the client; interviewing and screening prospective clients; organize case files; update case files; data entry; answering phone calls; handle property damage claims; prepare demand packets; prepare letters of representation; prepare letters of spoliation; schedule vehicle inspection(s); requesting records; scheduling client medical appointments.
The Firm used state of the art CRM, internal communication programs and technology to assist in case management, mediations and trial. The candidate must be a team player and will be encouraged to reach maximum potential.
Typical duties of litigation responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: filing; serving documents; contacting experts; answering phone calls; communicating case status with clients; organize case files; update case files; data entry; requesting records; scheduling client-attorney meetings; lien reductions. Responsibilities are inclusive not exhaustive.
Great environment and team player is sought for this position. Spanish Bilingual candidate is preferred. Self-starter. Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Legal experience in the personal injury field is required. Candidates without law firm experience need not apply.
The pay will depend on the level of knowledge and experience. Experience in prelitigation preferred
Candidates without relevant Personal Injury experience will not be considered
