Job Overview
The Vice President Project Management is a senior executive leader responsible for establishing and leading Burgos Finance & Investment Capital’s enterprise-wide project management framework, ensuring the effective execution of strategic initiatives, technology programs, and cross-functional operations.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role will oversee project governance, program delivery, and organizational alignment—ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into disciplined execution across fintech solutions, client delivery, and internal transformation initiatives.
The VP will play a critical role in enhancing execution efficiency, building scalable operational frameworks, and supporting the company’s growth across financial technology services.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in financial services, fintech, or capital markets environments, with a proven track record in managing complex programs, driving execution excellence, and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, high-growth settings.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Strategic Execution
Establish and lead Burgos Finance & Investment Capital’s enterprise project management framework, standards, and governance processes.
Translate strategic initiatives into structured programs with defined timelines, milestones, and accountability.
Oversee end-to-end execution of key initiatives across fintech platforms, client solutions, and operational infrastructure.
Ensure alignment between corporate strategy and project delivery across all business functions.
Program Management & Delivery Excellence
Lead complex, cross-functional programs involving technology, operations, risk, and client-facing teams.
Implement best practices in program management, including Agile, hybrid, and execution-focused methodologies.
Drive execution discipline, issue resolution, and risk tracking across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, and performance objectives are consistently achieved.
Cross-Functional & Global Coordination
Act as a central coordination point across technology, product, compliance, finance, and business teams.
Support cross-regional initiatives aligned with global strategy and market requirements.
Facilitate communication and alignment between executive leadership and operational teams.
Enable seamless collaboration across functions and geographically distributed stakeholders.
Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization
Identify opportunities to improve execution speed, workflow efficiency, and resource allocation.
Implement scalable processes, tools, and systems to enhance project tracking and delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in execution frameworks and operational effectiveness.
Integrate automation and technology solutions into project management processes where applicable.
Risk, Compliance & Control Alignment
Ensure all projects align with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to support fintech and financial services initiatives.
Identify and mitigate operational, execution, and technology-related risks throughout project lifecycles.
Maintain strong governance standards across all strategic and operational programs.
Data-Driven Performance Management
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to monitor program performance.
Provide executive-level insights on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Leverage data to improve prioritization, decision-making, and execution quality.
Align project outcomes with business impact and strategic objectives.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project management and program delivery team.

Qualifications
20+ years of progressive experience in project management, program leadership, or operational execution within financial services, fintech, or capital markets environments.
Proven success managing large-scale, complex initiatives in fast-paced and high-stakes environments.
Strong understanding of financial technology platforms, digital transformation, and operational frameworks.
Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional global teams.
Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
