Job description
Initial pay scale based on experience and education from $ 28,000 to $36,000 during training. Experience candidate’s salary is negotiable. Paralegal will be working closely with the attorney(s) under the direction of a lead paralegal. The position will require interphase with clients, courts, and other attorneys. Primary responsibility will be assisting other staff with drafting pleadings, discovery documents, letters, witness affidavits, and preparing court files.
This position requires attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, and comfort with new technologies. Requirements/ Qualifications: Applicants should have excellent communication and writing skills; a high degree of comfort with computers and technology is necessary. Applicants must be responsible, hard-working, and enthusiastic and must be “team players.” Preference will be given to candidates with prior paralegal/legal assistant experience. A college degree is desirable but not necessary.
