Broughton Partners is a technology-first legal marketing company. Our mission is to end corporate negligence by providing law firms with mass tort case generation solutions built on efficiency, data science, and transparency. This role is part of the intake operations department and reports to the Claimant Services Manager.
What’s the role like, and who’s a good fit?
Claimant Services Specialists are a key component in ensuring that qualified claimants get to the appropriate litigating firm to get the help they deserve. The goal of the Claimant Services Specialists is to audit claims and ensure efficient case delivery.
Main Responsibilities of a Claimant Services Specialist:
85% Case Delivery
The vast majority of the time, working as a Claimant Services Specialist is spent auditing signed cases for accuracy, ensuring that the claimants get sent to the firm in a timely manner.
10% Report Management
We cross-reference multiple reports to ensure that law firm orders are being filled with the correct cases. Manage miscellaneous reports as issues arise.
5% Outbound calls
We may have to follow up with claimants who may have provided incomplete information to ensure they meet the firm’s criteria.
Must-Haves:
Highly reliable and able to follow processes carefully
Adaptability to accept day-to-day changes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of complex processes
Ability to work with G Suite and generally tech-savvy to manage complex tasks between several software tools
Self-sufficient as well as a team player
Attention to detail
Minimum Position Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education required
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of customer service or related experience required.
Licenses or Certification: N/A
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, sitting, repetitive movements and use of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard, are frequently required.
