Job Purpose

The Director of Inspection, Quality Control, Safety & Security is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously enhancing a comprehensive inspection, quality control, safety, and security framework across the entire organization.

This role ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all departments, while safeguarding company personnel, assets, operations, and reputation. The position also plays a critical role in risk prevention, incident management, and cross-functional enforcement of operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and oversee organization-wide inspection and compliance frameworks covering all functions and departments.
  • Identify violations across operations and supporting functions; conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead internal audits, cross-functional inspections, and coordinate external audits or regulatory reviews.
  • Establish governance mechanisms to ensure consistent enforcement of policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Report inspection outcomes, key risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership.

2. Quality Control

  • Design and implement quality control systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and service excellence across all business operations.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve operational processes and service delivery standards.
  • Oversee resolution of quality-related issues, including systemic problems and customer complaints.
  • Define and manage KPIs, quality metrics, and performance dashboards; drive accountability across departments.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer experience.

3. Safety & Security Management

  • Establish and enforce safety, security, and risk management frameworks to protect employees, drivers, customers, and company assets.
  • Develop and implement policies related to safety, security, fire prevention, and emergency response.
  • Lead and coordinate the handling of complex safety or traffic-related incidents that frontline teams (e.g., drivers, operations) cannot resolve independently, acting as a central support and escalation function.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance of drivers and relevant stakeholders with safety standards and operational guidelines.
  • Partner with Operations and other functions in resolving safety incidents and customer complaints.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent accidents, losses, and security breaches.

4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing Inspection, Quality Control, Safety & Security teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Legal, Fraud Control, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective policy execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and relevant authorities.
  • Provide strategic insights, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Internal Control, Security Management, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in police, military, government agencies, or security-related institutions are strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications related to inspection, compliance, security, or investigation are a strong advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in inspection, internal control, security, quality control, or operations management.
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven experience in highly regulated environments, transportation, logistics, or large-scale operations.
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in law enforcement, security agencies, or government institutions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, enforcement mindset, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Deep expertise in inspection, compliance, risk control, safety, and security management.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, investigation, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills (English and Vietnamese preferred).
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, incident response, and crisis management.
