Main goal

The UEFA Academy Programme Coordinator plays a key role in the design, coordination and delivery of educational initiatives across UEFA. This position involves close collaboration with various UEFA divisions and units to ensure that learning programmes are strategically aligned, pedagogically sound and operationally effective.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating programmes across divisions

Acting as the primary liaison between the UEFA Academy and other UEFA divisions/units to co-develop and implement educational programmes

Serving as a learning and development business partner, engaging in frequent consultations with other divisions and units to support the development of educational initiatives

Coordinating the pedagogical and logistical delivery of existing flagship initiatives, including: UEFA Football Law Programme, Fight the Fix, Sustainability in Football compact course and Innovation in Action

Developing on-demand education

Coordinating the creation and delivery of bespoke educational programmes tailored to the needs of external stakeholders (e.g. national associations, clubs, private organisations)

Ensuring each programme is aligned with the UEFA Academy’s standards of excellence and stakeholder expectations

Programme Coordination Responsibilities

For each programme, the Programme Coordinator’s role typically includes:

Co-designing and refining the programme’s structure, content and pedagogical approach in cooperation with internal and external partners

Producing support materials and resources for the programme

Overseeing promotion and the recruitment process

Coordinating logistical elements, including venue booking, accommodation, catering, transport and event set-up

Managing the programme’s budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability

More generally, optimising the learning journey of programme participants and maximising the impact of the programme on both participants and their organisations

Requirements

Experience:

At least three years of experience in vocational education and/or learning and development

Experience in international organisations, ideally in sports

Experience in organising seminars and other types of events

Education:

Master’s degree

Languages:

English: Proficient

French: A strong asset

Any other major international language: A strong asset

Other requirements:

Knowledge of AI tools and able to use them confidently

Excellent presentation skills

Strong project management skills

Comfortable and energised working in multicultural environments

Ability to handle tight deadlines and stressful situations

Service-orientated

Available and willing to travel for official trips

Broad curiosity and eagerness to learn

Highly collaborative and committed to the success of others

Willingness to experiment, take risks and continuously challenge oneself
