Two Front-End Construction Lawyer Roles | Junior & Senior

Perth | Full-time | Specialist Construction Practice

A growing specialist construction law and advisory practice is seeking two lawyers to join its expanding Perth team — one Junior Construction Lawyer and one Senior Construction Lawyer.

Both roles offer a strong mix of front-end construction, property and commercial advisory work, making them ideal for lawyers who enjoy the intersection between construction and property law.

1. Junior Construction Lawyer | 1–4 Years PAE

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to develop their career in front-end construction, property and commercial advisory work.

You will work closely with experienced construction lawyers and gain exposure to:

  • Drafting and reviewing construction contracts
  • Construction and development advice
  • Property-related matters supporting construction and development projects
  • Contract negotiations and amendments
  • Development agreements and related documentation
  • Advising on contractual risk and project issues
  • Variations, extensions of time and dispute avoidance
  • Due diligence and property-related advisory work
  • Direct client interaction and relationship building

2. Senior Construction Lawyer | 5–10 Years PAE

An excellent opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to take on a significant advisory role within a specialist practice, with a strong focus on front-end construction and property matters.

You will be responsible for:

  • Advising on major construction and development projects
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex construction contracts
  • Providing strategic contractual, property and risk advice
  • Advising developers, contractors and other industry clients
  • Assisting with property aspects of construction and development projects
  • Advising on project delivery, contractual obligations and risk
  • Managing matters and client relationships independently
  • Mentoring junior lawyers
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the practice

About You

For both positions, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in construction, property, commercial or related areas of law
  • A genuine interest in front-end construction
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • A practical and commercially minded approach
  • An interest in the property and development sector
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a specialist team

These are fantastic opportunities to join a growing specialist construction practice and work on high-quality matters across the construction, property and development sectors.
