We are a fast-paced personal injury law firm seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive, happy personality, experience in handling personal injury cases and possess the skills necessary to effectively manage the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
– Ordering, reviewing, and organizing medical records and bills.
– Communicating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and clients.
– Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
– Assisting with case preparation and file management.
– Monitoring deadlines and maintaining detailed case notes.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in a legal assistant role, within personal injury law or workmans comp.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
