Location: Moorestown, New Jersey | Primarily on-site in a collaborative office environment with occasional work-from-home flexibility as needed. This role is ideal for attorneys who enjoy client interaction and working closely with an experienced legal team.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and have at least 2+ years of direct Trusts & Estates experience. Mid-level associates are preferred, although more experienced candidates with strong relevant backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Counsel clients on estate planning, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and related planning strategies.
  • Handle estate and trust administration from initial probate through final distribution.
  • Prepare and review estate planning documents and trust administration materials.
  • Draft pleadings, petitions, complaints, and other filings related to probate and trust matters.
  • Assist with probate, guardianship, conservatorship, and special needs trust proceedings.
  • Advise clients regarding wealth preservation, tax planning, and asset protection strategies.
  • Communicate with courts, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals.
  • Manage an independent caseload while collaborating closely with attorneys and support staff.
  • Stay current with developments in trust, estate, probate, and tax law.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar licenses.
  • 2+ years of Trusts & Estates experience (estate planning, estate administration, probate, or related practice).
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents and handling estate administration matters.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Probate litigation or special needs planning experience is a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
