A nationally respected law firm is seeking a Senior Counsel with deep experience in commercial litigation to join its litigation team, supporting clients within the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation industries. This position can be based in Los Angeles or within California via the firm’s virtual platform .
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience handling all stages of complex commercial litigation. This includes conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and participating in mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. Experience in both state and federal courts is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial litigation matters independently and as part of a collaborative team
Conduct depositions, hearings, and motion practice
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings
Interface directly with clients and develop legal strategies
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and discovery
What They’re Looking For
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California bar license and current California residency
Minimum of 10 years of commercial litigation experience
Demonstrated experience in both federal and state court litigation
Strong academic credentials, client communication skills, and strategic judgment
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and effectively
Compensation
Base salary for this position ranges from $225,000 to $275,000 , commensurate with experience. The firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package , including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and more.
