We are a small but dynamic litigation law firm based in Ogden, Utah, handling a variety of civil cases. Our team is committed to providing high-quality legal services with a personal touch. As our caseload grows, we are seeking a Litigation Case Manager to help keep our practice organized, efficient, and client-focused.
Position Overview:
The Case Manager will play a key role in supporting attorneys by managing the day-to-day flow of multiple active litigation cases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and office experience who is interested in the legal field. Legal experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage deadlines, court dates, and case milestones
Maintain and organize case files (both digital and physical)
Draft and format basic legal documents and correspondence
Communicate with clients to provide updates and schedule meetings
Coordinate with attorneys, courts, and opposing counsel
Assist with document filing, including e-filing with Utah courts
Support billing and timekeeping processes
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and general computer use
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Experience in a professional office setting required
Legal or paralegal experience is a plus, but not required
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Familiarity with legal terminology or litigation processes
Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase)
Prior work in a law firm or legal office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
