Morgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice of plaintiff’s lawyers and supporting case staff in our office in Monmouth, New Jersey. The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs in Arizona. The lawyer’s responsibilities will be focused on litigating cases, including trial preparation and trial, but will not generally handle pre‑suit matters.
Our law firm’s generous and competitive compensation includes a base salary, non‑recoverable draw, standard commission fees and bonuses, and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and filing litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda
- Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
- Interaction with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances
Qualifications
- Law degree (J.D. / JD / Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association in NJ
- Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury / auto liability / MVA experience
- Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self‑starter driven by long‑term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
