The Injury Firm (www.flinjuryfirm.com) is a reputable East Fort Lauderdale personal injury law firm with offices throughout Florida.
At this time, we are seeking a talented Pre-Litigation Attorney for our Fort Lauderdale office located at 1608 E. Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale FL 33334.
Attorney will be responsible for their own case load of auto accident and slip and fall cases. Attorney should have 2 years minimum experience handling personal injury cases (plaintiff or defense). Ideal candidate will be smart, organized & motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Representation:
Meet with clients to discuss their cases, assess their legal options, and advise them on the best course of action.
Represent clients in all stages of the presuit process.
Case Investigation and Preparation:
Investigate the facts of the case, gather evidence, and interview witnesses.
Review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
Draft demand letter, Settlement statements, and other pre-litigation documents.
Ensure compliance with the Statute of Limitations.
Have excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Case Management:
Organize and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Keep clients informed of the status of their cases.
Work with paralegals and other legal staff to ensure efficient case management and use of the case management software.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida Bar.
Experience in personal injury or related areas.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with case management software (i.e. Filevine).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
