West Coast Trial Lawyers, a well-established personal injury law firm located in Downtown Los Angeles , is seeking a dedicated litigation professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or case manager in the personal injury field. Experience in drafting and propounding discovery is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing Personal Injury Matters: Handle cases from the inception of a lawsuit through to trial, ensuring smooth progress and proper documentation throughout each phase.
Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the assigned attorney, providing consistent communication and support.
Communication with Opposing Counsel: Maintain professional and effective communication with opposing counsel to facilitate case progression.
Calendar Management and Deadline Compliance: Oversee the attorney’s calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met in accordance with the California Code of Civil Procedure.
Case Management: Manage a high volume of litigation cases, staying organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Court Filings: Process filings in both state and federal courts across multiple counties, ensuring all documents are submitted accurately and timely.
Client Updates and Case Documentation: Keep clients informed on the status of their case while updating and maintaining comprehensive case files.
Discovery and Subpoena Preparation: Propound discovery requests, prepare subpoenas, and ensure timely follow-up.
Pleading Drafting: Assist in drafting pleadings and legal documents for attorney review and filing.
Requirements:
2+ years of Litigation Experience in personal injury law or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills
Preferences:
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Familiarity with legal software programs such as Filevine, Abacus Law, or Clio
Experience preparing trial binders and exhibit binders
