I’m recruiting a Training Contract opportunity on an exclusive basis within a market-leading financial services company, based in London.
The Opportunity
This is a wonderful opportunity to complete your training contract within a high performing, in-house legal function. You will gain direct exposure to complex, high-value transactions, while working closely with the legal team and wider Group's stakeholders.
Key Areas of Exposure
You can expect to gain experience across:
- Commercial Contracts: Drafting and negotiating agreements with customers, portfolio companies, counterparties, and service providers
- Derivatives & Trading: Supporting on trading activities, including drafting and negotiating ISDA agreements, hedging arrangements, and other derivatives documentation (including commodities and energy-linked products)
- Investment & Project Finance: Supporting on the structuring and financing of renewable energy and technology assets (debt and equity)
- Funds & Corporate: Assisting with fund structures, corporate transactions, and governance matters
- Financial Regulation & Compliance: Advising on regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services, trading activities, and sustainable investments
- Technology & Data: Supporting on digital platforms, data protection, and technology-driven investment solutions
- Risk & Disputes: Assisting with risk management, including exposure arising from trading and market activities
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have completed the LPC or SQE
- Be available to commence a training contract next month
- Strong academic background
- Commercial awareness alongside strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment
