Location: City of Schenectady
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal for the Trademark Portfolio Services department of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. The Trademark Paralegal will assist attorneys in managing trademark portfolios, copyright portfolios, and IP due diligence.
Morgan Lewis supports flexible working arrangements. This position can be based in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C., with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule. Flexibility with overtime is required.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing applications for trademark and service mark registration.
Preparing ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings.
Handling Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings and record title updates.
Assisting with trademark and copyright due diligence.
Performing online trademark clearance searches and preparing search guides.
Preparing applications for copyright registrations.
Drafting correspondence related to trademark prosecution and maintenance.
Monitoring deadlines and coordinating with attorneys to keep clients informed.
Performing other assigned tasks.
Experience and qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree.
2-3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
A paralegal certificate is strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong legal research and investigation skills.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
Adaptability to change and ability to work in a fast-pacedteam environment.

Salary ranges vary by location:
Chicago, IL: $59,300 – $94,850
New York, NY & San Francisco, CA: $67,400 – $107,825
