A leading supplier of semiconductor design, software, tools, resources, and services is seeking to engage a trade compliance analyst on a full-time (40 hours per week) contract basis for an initial 3 month term.
Scope of Work
Title: Trade Compliance Analyst
Pay Rate: $45 – $65 / hr
Location: Remote(United States)
Hours: 40 Hours / Week
Duration: 3Months

Responsibilities:
Investigate potential export compliance violations, including unauthorized exports, reexports, deemed exports, and other controlled activities
Support and prepare voluntary self-disclosures (VSDs) to the U.S. Departments of State, Commerce, and Treasury.
Analyze compliance risks related to export-controlled data, technology transfers, and international transactions.
Maintain detailed and organized case files, tracking investigation outcomes, corrective actions, and communications with government agencies.
Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Contracts, and Program teams to gather relevant information for investigations.
Support root cause analyses and corrective action planning; track implementation and effectiveness of corrective measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in export compliance, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or high-tech sectors.
In-depth knowledge of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), EAR (Export Administration Regulations), and OFAC sanctions.
Experience preparing and submitting voluntary self-disclosures to DDTC, BIS, and/or OFAC.
Strong research, investigative, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in drafting detailed reports and agency correspondence.
U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using global trade compliance tools (e.g., OCR, SAP GTS, Amber Road).
Prior experience working with government enforcement agencies.
