Principal Responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end support for Structured Derivative Products, managing trades from inception to expiry across regional markets.
Ensure accurate trade validation and timely settlement of all structured derivative transactions.
Perform product validation in Murex and/or Front Arena, ensuring all trades are accurately booked against source documentation.
Authorise payments and receipts for Structured Derivative trades, maintaining close coordination with counterparties and internal operations teams.
Execute fixing procedures for determining product payoffs and manage communication with local Global Financial Markets (GFM) Operations for settlement or fixing-related tasks.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks or exceptions within established turnaround times.
Handle and respond to pre- and post-trade inquiries via email or SWIFT channels, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and critical projects, identifying opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
Perform data analysis and problem-solving to support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and enhance decision-making.
Proactively explore data discovery opportunities to deliver operational insights and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, or a related discipline.
0-2 years of experience in Financial Markets Operations, preferably with exposure to structured or derivative products.
Familiarity with systems such as Murex and Front Arena is good to have.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
Eagerness to learn complex financial products and contribute in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience in data analysis or reconciliation tools.
