Toxic Tort Plaintiff Attorney (100% Remote)
Nationally recognized plaintiffs’ side law firm looking for a seasoned attorney to manage and work up a docket of toxic tort product liability cases, specifically focusing on mesothelioma cases.
Job Details
Responsibilities
Manage and work up a docket of mesothelioma cases, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Handle all aspects of case management from inception to trial, including document review, expert discovery, and motion practice.
Take and defend depositions, as well as lead the development of trial strategies.
Draft and review legal documents including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Travel frequently (at least weekly) to meet with clients, experts, and attend depositions and hearings.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2+ years of experience in litigation managing cases from filing to trial including some second-chair trial experience.
Strong deposition, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage a heavy docket with minimal supervision.
Asbestos experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
Ability and willingness to travel on a weekly basis.
