Required Experience:
- 3–5 years of litigation experience.
- Experience in class action defense, product liability litigation, mass tort, or multidistrict litigation (MDL).
- Experience with consumer protection and complex commercial litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent multinational clients in complex commercial and cross-border litigation.
- Handle class action defense matters involving false advertising, product defects, and false representation claims.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and discovery responses.
- Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert witness interviews.
- Manage litigation strategy, discovery, and case preparation.
- Advise clients on litigation risks and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with U.S. and Japanese legal teams on cross-border matters.
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school or equivalent legal qualification.
- 3–5 years of litigation experience.
- Experience with class action defense, product liability, MDL, or mass tort litigation.
- Knowledge of California Unfair Competition Law (UCL).
- Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Active membership in the applicable State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Native, fluent, or business-level Japanese language proficiency.
- Experience in international or cross-border litigation.
