We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Title Staff member to join our dynamic real estate team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and verifying property titles, ensuring all documentation aligns with legal standards and company policies. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive title searches utilizing public records, title records, and mapping software to verify property ownership and history.
  • Review legal descriptions, easements, and other real estate documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage title processing tasks including title review, underwriting guidelines adherence, and documentation review for real estate transactions.
  • Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and mapping software to assist in property analysis and boundary identification.
  • Research and analyze public records related to property rights, liens, encumbrances, and easements to support title clearance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on title status, including title search findings, legal descriptions, and potential issues requiring resolution before closing.
  • Collaborate with clients, law offices, and internal teams to facilitate clear communication regarding title status and transaction progress.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in law office environments or real estate transaction management roles with a focus on titles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Knowledge of real estate law principles, legal descriptions, easements, and right-of-way processes.
  • Familiarity with real estate transaction management software and title review platforms.
  • Ability to perform detailed research using public records and historical data sources.
  • Experience with title search procedures, title record analysis, and title processing workflows.
  • Skilled in using GIS tools and mapping software for property analysis and boundary mapping.
  • Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach.
