We are seeking an office assistant for our law office to become a part of our team! This position will be likely 30-35 hours per week, depending on the needs of the firm/workload. The position will provide overall support to the office’s attorney and legal assistants. It is an entry level office assistant role that offers the opportunity to gain experience and skills in the legal services environment.
Initial responsibilities will include:
Answering/transferring phones
Faxing/scanning documents
File preparation and closure
Statements/Mailings (monthly, intermittent)
Process/Scan mail and faxes
Schedule appointments
Follow-up/reminder phone calls
Appellant brief binding (intermittent)
Reception tasks (greet clients, check front office voicemails, coffee, etc.)
Process client payments
Supply ordering

Desired Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong skills computer skills (Typing, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.).

Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
Ability to follow written office procedures.
